About House of Lapland

House of Lapland is a nonprofit organization in charge of regional marketing and communications of Finnish Lapland globally. Over the past few years, Chinese visitors have become the fastest growing group of visitors to travel to Finnish Lapland and are crucial for local businesses. 


The Campaign

House of Lapland wanted to utilize influencer and key opinion leader (KOL) marketing to boost the brand awareness of Finnish Lapland among the Chinese audience. 

We invited a Chinese influencer couple, Roy & Sue, to visit Finnish Lapland and its capital Rovaniemi. During their stay, they filmed two music videos that were promoted through their social media channels.

RESULTS

Both videos received a landslide of positive comments and after four years of filming, the videos are still broadcasted in Chinese social media during the Christmas season. The campaign still attracts Chinese tourists to visit Finnish Lapland to this day.
